Just follow the video! Also applies to the Acer Aspire One D, which is essentially Gateway MX6900 Intel WLAN same machine. I bought this netbook for my mom recently, and when I looked it up online searching for how to get at the hard drive and memory, I literally couldn't find anything pertaining to this specific model of computer Or anything remotely similar to it even!
So of course I had to tinker around with it! I figured it out after a while, and thankfully did not break anything in the process. If anyone decides to try higher RAM capacities than 2GB, please let Gateway MX6900 Intel WLAN know the results, as Gateway Online says this computer will only support 2GB, but I do not personally believe that.
The hard drive is advertised on the unit itself and online Gateway MX6900 Intel WLAN Bestbuy. I also hope that Toshiba has upped their longevity. I swore a long time ago never to use another Toshiba drive after my laptop spit out the GB Toshiba drive it had, only 6 months after I bought the laptop But this being my mom's computer, I'm not going to mess with the hard drive unless it does blow up.

You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out.
